Twitter Uses Tumblr For Status Blog

This is just delightful - the folks of Twitter have finally decided to communicate the reasons behind their frequent downtimes - which have turned our Mark’s life into a neverending stream of pain and misery, or something like that - and they’re using Tumblr, their direct competitor in the microblogging field, as the platform.
Others have noticed, too, but the bizzarre thing is that no one finds this odd. What would people say if Lexus gave you a Honda as a replacement car when your breaks down? Guess the Twitter downtime is now considered a natural occurence, something like aurora borealis - it just happens.
Actually, Brian Alvey has speculated that Twitter downtime, in fact, is its business model. Brilliant.
